Hi! We're the Ruscio family and we'd like to thank you for your interest in what God is doing in our lives.
God has blessed us with four children, Frankie, Toby, Logan and Hannah. We are excited to participate together and watch God plant His church in unreached people groups. As a family, we desire to support and encourage missionary families in the remote and rugged tribes in any and every way we can!
The two of us met in Spokane, Washington while attending Moody Bible Institute. Frank earned his degree in Missionary Aviation Technology at Moody Aviation. Since we were married in 2009, we both graduated, worked a few jobs, and invested in our home church (Faith Bible Church) to glean from their wisdom and counsel. It's been a blessing to take advantage of opportunities to grow before leaving for the field!
Upon receiving the elders' blessing, our family moved to Missouri in the Fall of 2015 to attend the Missionary Training Center of New Tribes Mission (now Ethnos360). The Fall of 2016 brought another transition - we moved to Arizona to attend a 9 month internship with NTM's global aviation's headquarters. After the internship, we stayed from 2017-2019 in Arizona first to learn to fly helicopters, and then to train other missionary pilots to fly them as well. It was an honor to serve alongside the missionaries at NTM.
After our time in Arizona, we transitioned to serve as missionaries on-loan to Moody Aviation. Moody Aviation is a training school equipping pilots and mechanics to serve missionaries overseas. It was a joy and blessing for our family to serve with the team at Moody, invest in the next generation of missionary aviators, and spend some time with our home church as we prayed and waited on God's timing for our next steps.
Now we look forward to moving over to Madang, Papua New Guinea with FinisTerre this summer to be involved in what God is doing with His church over there!
