A few reasons why we’re excited about mission aviation!

Our family desires to join New Tribes Mission where we would be part of a church planting team whose goal is to carry out the task of learning languages and cultures in order to clearly present the Gospel to unreached people groups and effectively plant mature churches that can take their rightful place as agents of change in their own communities and partners in the Great Commission.

As the mission aviator on the church planting team, I have a unique and strategic role. The only regular face-to-face interaction missionaries in the “jungle” have with the outside world will come through the pilots who are serving them. We are really excited to encourage and support these missionaries both practically and spiritually as we serve alongside them in our common mission to proclaim Christ to the nations.

PictureImagine missionaries hiking and packing in all their supplies instead of flying! Aviation opens up access to tribes otherwise inaccessible.
Aviation opens up access to tribes otherwise inaccessible. God’s love burns for each of these lost people groups and by His grace we will work to bring them Life. One flight can easily save a fellow missionary a week of dangerous travel and downtime recuperating. This, along with keeping them well supplied and “up and running”, allows them to focus more energies on their primary task.

We’ll also be privileged to fly national pastors and missionaries – the fruit of the mature churches we seek to establish!

Often the love we are able to show these tribes through medevac flights opens new doors and hearts to the Word of God.

It's inspiring how aviation plays such an important role in reaching unreached communities.
